WEIGHT

Passengers must weigh between 40 and 90 kg and have a BMI of less than 30, for safety reasons.

This means:

- 1m55: weigh less than 70kg
from 1m56 to 1m59: weighing less than 75kg
from 1m60 to 1m64: weighing less than 80kg
from 1m65 to 1m69: weigh less than 85 kg
from 1m70 to 1m74: weighing less than 90 kg
AGE

We have no age limit! However, if you are over 65, ask your doctor for advice. Minors require the authorisation of both legal guardians.

Preamble must be read:

You will be skydiving from a height of approximately 4,000 metres, experiencing physical and physiological stresses due, notably, to temperature variations (a decrease of 6.5 degrees per 1,000 metres in standard atmosphere), atmospheric pressure variations, speed (around 200 km/h in freefall), the significant deceleration upon parachute deployment, stress… (non-exhaustive list), WITHOUT DANGER FOR A HEALTHY PERSON with good lifestyle habits.

To go skydiving, you must not have consumed alcohol (including beer), or drugs, and must not have gone scuba diving in the last 48 hours.

The health self-questionnaire must be completed with sincerity by individuals between 18 and 65 years of age, who are fully legally competent, failing which a medical certificate remains compulsory. This is for your own safety. The instructor may nevertheless require a medical certificate if they deem it necessary, without having to justify their decision.

THE INSTRUCTOR, WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR SAFETY, IS THE ONLY PERSON WHO CAN MAKE THE FINAL ASSESSMENT OF YOUR OVERALL ABILITY TO SKYDIVE, WHICH YOU ACCEPT BY SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT.

You do NOT need a medical certificate to jump, just sign the self-questionnaire. EXCEPT :

if you are over 65

and EXCEPT if you answered YES to any of questions 1 to 9, and/or NO to question 10.

Do you have an ENT (ear, nose, or throat) condition?
Do you have any eye conditions?
Do you have a cardiovascular disease (heart, vessels)? …………….
Do you have a lung disease?
Do you have a neurological or psychiatric illness (nerves, brain)?

Tandem wingsuiting is an outdoor sport: for obvious safety reasons, we only do it in good weather.

We always take the time to check the weather forecast in the days leading up to a flying session (for those in the know, we're on Windy and compare several weather models).

Please note that no forecast is really reliable more than 24 hours in advance. We will always do our best to keep you informed of the evolution of your chances of jumping.

If there's a weather delay, we'll try to do it in the next few days, if it's possible on your side and ours. To maximise your chances of jumping, we advise you to stay on site for at least 3 days if you can.

If it's not, then we'll agree a later date for your jump, free of charge.

However, if instead of postponing, you choose to cancel definitively, you will be charged a handling fee of €40.

From the plane, we systematically ask for a minimum drop at FL 130 (i.e. an altitude of around 4,000 m) so that you have time to enjoy your flight!

In some centres it is possible to request special authorisations (NOTAM) to climb higher. This is the case at Brienne-Le-Château, where we can organise jumps at 6000m with oxygen.

This is a special option, which requires specific organisation and the carrying of oxygen masks during the flight up (which also takes longer).

This extends the wingsuit flight time, which averages up to 2 minutes! Of course, this time varies according to the weight and position of the passenger.

If you want to experience different heights, you can also do so in Haute Savoie or Switzerland, by helicopter (we offer 5000 and 6000m).

Although there are many similarities in terms of safety equipment (same aircraft, same harness, reserve parachute, automatic safety release, etc.) the tandem wingsuit differs in the free-fall part, which it transforms into a long acrobatic glide!
45 seconds of freefall in a classic tandem, converted into 1min20 in a tandem wingsuit.
This glide is generally accompanied by a 180 turn and a barrel roll (impossible in classic freefall).
It's a completely new experience: the biggest roller coaster in the world!

The Wingsuit Tandem jump from an airplane in Marennes-Oléron costs €990 for a jump at 4,000 m, with no video or photos included.

VIDEO OPTION: 250 euros
You are being filmed by an external cameraman, who is himself in a wingsuit. You retrieve a “On the go” USB stick with the videos of your jump. A few days later, you also receive a link with the edited video, which you can share.

BEACH JUMP OPTION : 450 euros (Arcachon only)
You take off from La Teste aerodrome, but land on one of the Arcachon beaches (chosen on the day).

OPTION JUMP 6,000 m with oxygen: 850 euros (Brienne-le-Château only)

Helicopter jumps
Helicopter jumps are tailor-made experiences. They start from €2,900 for a jump at 4,000m with a privatised helicopter and 2 videomen (so video included). Consult the page « Helicopters »for more information.

The duration of a wingsuit jump session with SkyVibration depends on several factors, including the type of jump (aeroplane or helicopter), the jump location, and the weather conditions. In general, you can expect a session to last around 2 hours between preparation, the flight, the jump, and the post-jump debrief.

In more detail, a climb in an aircraft takes between 10 and 30 minutes, depending on the altitude and type of aircraft chosen.
The wingsuit flight itself takes an average of 1min20 at 4000m, and almost 2min when you jump from 6000m. Of course, this parameter varies according to your flying position and weight.

Once the parachute is open, you have around 8 to 10 minutes of more contemplative parachute flying, again depending on the weather conditions and.... your desire to perform acrobatics under canopy!

At SkyVibration, you can experience the Tandem Wingsuit in two ways: by plane or by helicopter.

By plane, the experience follows a more structured format, with dates and locations planned according to our tours. This is an ideal option if you like a clear schedule and simple organisation, in a friendly atmosphere.

By helicopter, the experience becomes more exclusive and flexible: we can enjoy a moment of “hover” before the exit, for an intense sensation, close to the BASE, while remaining in a controlled setting, away from the cliffs. The jumps are made from a private helicopter and the experience is systematically filmed by 2 videographers.
